Your privacy is a matter of trust — and we treat it that way.

This Privacy Policy explains how Amos Onwukwe Ghostwriting ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects the information you share when you visit amosonwukwe.com, fill out a contact or newsletter form, book a discovery call, or subscribe to The Amos 3:3 Newsletter.

We believe in plain language. If you have questions after reading this, email us directly — we will respond.

The short version: We only collect what we need to serve you well. We never sell your information to anyone. We never share it with third parties for marketing purposes. You can opt out or ask us to delete your data at any time.

What information we collect

1. Contact form submissions
When you fill out a contact or enquiry form on the website, we collect your name, email address, and any message content you choose to provide. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, with your permission, to follow up on a potential working relationship.

2. Newsletter subscriptions (The Amos 3:3 Newsletter)
When you subscribe to The Amos 3:3 Newsletter via the opt-in form on this site, we collect your first name and email address. This information is stored and managed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider. We use it to send you the newsletter and occasional updates related to our ghostwriting services.

3. Discovery call bookings
When you book a discovery call via Cal.com, Cal.com collects the information necessary to schedule the appointment (name, email address, and your selected time). This data is governed by Cal.com's Privacy Policy. We receive your name, email, and booking details to prepare for our conversation.

4. Automatically collected data
Like most websites, our site may collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on the site, through standard server logs or analytics tools. This data is aggregated and used only to understand general site performance. It is not tied to your identity.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form
  • To send The Amos 3:3 Newsletter to subscribers who have opted in
  • To follow up on discovery calls you have booked
  • To communicate updates, service information, or relevant offers to people who have an existing relationship with us — only where you have given consent
  • To improve the website experience based on aggregated, anonymous usage data

We will never use your information for any purpose beyond what is described above without first asking for your explicit permission.

What we will never do with your data

🚫  We will never sell your email address or personal information to any individual, company, or organisation — ever, under any circumstances.

🚫  We will never share your information with third-party marketers or advertisers. Your data does not fund anyone's ad campaigns.

🚫  We will never add you to our newsletter list without your consent. Submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to The Amos 3:3 Newsletter. Newsletter sign-up is always a separate, voluntary action.

🚫  We will never send you unsolicited commercial messages beyond what you have explicitly signed up for.

Service providers we work with

To operate this website and deliver our services, we use the following trusted third-party tools. Each processes your data only as directed by us and in accordance with their own privacy policies:

  • Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email list management and newsletter delivery. Your name and email address are stored in Kit to power The Amos 3:3 Newsletter. Kit Privacy Policy →
  • Cal.com — discovery call scheduling. Booking data (name, email, time) is handled by Cal.com's infrastructure. Cal.com Privacy Policy →
  • WordPress hosting provider — your website host processes basic server logs (IP addresses, page requests) in the ordinary course of hosting. Consult your host's privacy policy for details.

These providers are not permitted to use your data for their own marketing or share it with others. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or retargeting tools on this site.

How subscriber data is handled

The Amos 3:3 Newsletter is a weekly email published by Amos Onwukwe Ghostwriting. When you subscribe:

  • Your first name and email address are stored in Kit and used to personalise and deliver the newsletter.
  • You will receive a confirmation email before being added to the list (double opt-in). You must confirm your subscription for it to become active.
  • Every newsletter edition includes a clear, one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can opt out at any time, instantly.
  • Upon unsubscribing, your email is removed from our active list. You may request permanent deletion of your data at any time by emailing us.
  • We may track open rates and click rates in aggregate to understand what content is most valuable — this is standard practice for all email platforms. Individual-level tracking data is not shared with third parties.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form enquiries — retained in our inbox for as long as the conversation is relevant to a potential or active working relationship. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Newsletter subscriber data — retained in Kit for as long as your subscription is active. Once you unsubscribe, Kit suppresses (or removes, upon your request) your data in accordance with their policy.
  • Booking data — retained by Cal.com per their data retention policy. We keep notes from discovery calls for the duration of a client relationship only.

You are always in control

Regardless of where you are in the world, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — You may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — You may ask us to delete your data at any time ("right to be forgotten").
  • Withdrawal of consent — You may withdraw consent for email communications at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us directly.
  • Portability — You may request your data in a portable format where technically feasible.

To exercise any of these rights, simply email us. We aim to respond within 5 business days.

Cookies and local storage

This website uses a browser cookie to remember whether you have already seen or dismissed the newsletter opt-in pop-up. This is not a tracking cookie — it stores only a simple flag (yes/no) in your browser and is never sent to our servers or shared with anyone.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party analytics cookies. If any embedded third-party service (such as Cal.com) sets its own cookies, those are governed by that service's cookie policy.

Children's privacy

This website and our services are intended for adult professionals — ministry leaders, pastors, communications directors, and organisational leaders. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted personal information through our site, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated to active newsletter subscribers via email. Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
